How often can paper be recycled ?
Paper cannot be recycled endlessly and not all used paper can be recycled because each time a fibre is recycled it loses strength and after 6 times it is useless and can no longer be called a “fibre”.
Recovered paper is very often used for a totally different grade than its original use. This is a result of the declining strength characteristics and the fact that certain paper grades simply have to be made for 100% from “virgin” fibre.
