What is the "Carbon cycle" ?
The carbon cycle is a series of processes through which all the carbon atoms in existence rotate. Wood or wood products, such as paper, that biodegraded or burned a few decades ago can –through photosynthesis- have produced a plant or a new tree that is now growing.
Plants, animals and soil interact to make up the basic cycles of nature. Plants absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and use it, with water from the soil and sunlight, to build the cellulose cells that make them grow.
